Employment Verification and Background ScreeningA report from ADP Screening and Selection Services has found that forty-four percent of applicants lied about their work histories, forty-one percent about their education and twenty-three percent falsified their credentials. Failing to conduct backgrounds have the potential of tort liability for negligent hiring if the the applicant is hired and has a criminal history and assaults, causes harm to your employees, customers or a citizen.
